CFM Air Conditioning has won the “Employment Category” for diversity and inclusion in the 2022 Casey Business Awards 2022.

Like many other businesses in our industry, CFM Air Conditioning’s biggest challenge during this past 12 months was to ensure we had ample staff to provide high-quality service to our clients. And to achieve this, we prioritised employing more field staff through unique methods.

We attracted new staff from diverse backgrounds, engaged business mentors and employed apprentices to future-proof our business.

Within the past 12 months, CFM Air Conditioning has employed and provided a four year government training contract from Box Hill Institute of TAFE, to six first year apprentices – some of whom are already into their second year.

CFM Air Conditioning utilise the latest technologies to capture new leads and customise our approach to ensure we meet our annual targets. Specifically, we employ strong Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Google campaigns & outdoor branding to maximise new leads, which are sent a targeted proposal via sophisticated software allowing us to monitor the level of interest shown by potential clients. Alongside these methods, we frequently work to improve our digital presence on our website and social media platforms, showcasing our diverse and inclusive workplace to celebrate the achievements of our staff.

We are thrilled The City of Casey has celebrated our organisation for embracing diversity, our overall success, & employing our first female Air Conditioning Technician, Skye.
