Grand Plans for the Women In HVAC Group

Melanie Aldis Head of Women in HVAC ACMA Australia

We’re proud to announce that our CEO Melanie Aldis of CFM Air Conditioning has been elected the inaugural chairperson of the Women In HVAC Group. She shares her thoughts on the group and the opportunities to get more women into HVAC.

Melanie is passionate about inspiring other women to join the trade and support gender diversity in HVAC & believes ongoing education will play a vital role in increasing female participation in the industry. CFM Air Conditioning is taking action by employing more female apprentices and promoting HVAC as a viable, technology-driven career option for young women.

In addition to her role as chairperson of the Women In HVAC Group, Melanie has entered one of her female apprentices into the AMCA Industry Excellence Awards for Apprentice of the Year. She believes that this is a great example of how women can excel in the industry and inspire others.

Melanie and the Women In HVAC Group are determined to lead the way in promoting diversity and innovation in the HVAC industry.
